Reviews and Ratings
I had a really great experience at the hotel. The rooms were really clean and comfortable, and the overall stay was fantastic. However, the room smelt musty and I had to ask reception to adjust the air conditioning as I couldn't open a window. The service was amazing, especially a big shout out to all the bar staff, especially Kayla who went above and beyond for customers. The location was awesome, within walking distance to the marina, and I met lots of young people. The dining was appreciated but could be better with more variety. Overall, it's a great spot with friendly staff and good deals on food and drinks.
I ended up leaving a day early due to the noisy environment with boys who lacked cleanliness, causing my clothes to smell damp and affecting my breathing. The room felt a bit musty, and I couldn't control the air con or open a window, especially with the bar on the other side of the building.
I must say, this hostel had some highs and lows. On one hand, the rooms were very big and had their own single bed, which was great. But on the downside, the rooms smelt musty and needing some fresh air but couldn't open a window. The air conditioning settings had to be adjusted through reception. Overall, a mixed bag!
The hostel offers a much nicer experience compared to many others, with en-suite rooms featuring balconies. However, the noise from the nightclub can be disturbing and the rooms have a humidity smell. The location is fantastic for partying but might lack adequate seating. The dining options are basic but sufficient for a quick meal.
The hotel had real clean rooms and excellent air conditioning but was poorly designed and awkward to access, with ongoing works causing noise both inside the building and on the street. The service was very helpful and accommodating, although some staff members appeared grumpy at times. The location was awesome and very central, offering convenient access to shops, restaurants, and docks for GBR excursions. The dining options were satisfactory, with plain tasting pizzas and typical hostel-standard meals.
I had a great time at the hotel, especially enjoying the view overlooking Cairns City from the room. The room setup was a bit different from what I expected but still served its purpose well. The location on Grafton Street was excellent, right in the heart of the city.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were basic but decent, equipped with essential amenities like a balcony, fridge, air conditioning, and a smart bathroom. However, the noise from the night club and loud guests made it hard to relax. The service was hit or miss, with some staff being helpful but others causing disruptions. The location was convenient for partygoers and close to the city center, but the dining options were extremely basic.
My stay at the hostel was a mix of highs and lows. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and convenient for the Great Barrier Reef tour. The service, despite some hiccups, was friendly and informative. However, the dining options were underwhelming, and the rooms, though standard for a hostel, lacked cleanliness at times.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was really spacious and had some kitchen space on each floor, but it was very unclean upon checking in. Despite the loud music pumping until 3 am, the location was great for exploring on foot. The service was available 24/7, but the staff were not very friendly. The dining experience was average, with limited options for breakfast. However, the facilities were decent, offering a range of services.
